Skradin is a little picturesque town on the right side of river Krka, at the entrance to national park Krka. It is 18 km away from Šibenik. With its rich history that dates from Illyrian and Roman times, Skradin is one of the oldest Croatian towns.
The town is rich with many sights, from which the most important is the Church of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary with its bell tower, and the church of St. Spiridon with towers. Near the Skradin is well known archeological site Bribirska glavica, so called Croatian Troy, former Liburnian and Roman settlement. Apart from its historical landmarks, Skradin is known for its excellent cuisine.
There is also beautiful ACI marina Skradin which enriches the offer of the town, making it an indispensable destination for many boaters who come here with their boats and sailboats.
