In 2012, French shipyard Beneteau presented his latest sailboat at that time, Oceanis 45, which still conquers its versatile performance and exceptional design. This beautiful sailboat is designed by the architects of the famous French company Finot - Conq.
The hull is made of fiberglass with polyester, while the deck, also fiberglass, is injection-molded and cored with end-grain balsa.
All hatches in front companionway are flush with the deck, which allows movement on the deck without obstacles. Jibsheets coming to self - tailing winches on the cockpit coamings, within reach of skipper. All other ropes and mainsheet are connected to a pair of winches in front of companionway, while the rigging is attached to the coach rooftop. The cockpit is extremely large and wide. There are two steering wheels on the cockpit with the rear teak bench, which extends across the entire width of the boat. Each steering wheel includes additional handrail and compass and space for electronics. In front of companionway is a large wooden table with a charter plotter.
Interior is voluminous, with lots of details and quality mahogany furniture. On the port of the salon is a L – shaped galley which contains all necessary equipment to cook and serve, as well as a freezer and plenty of cabinet space. On the starboard is dinette for eight people. There are four available versions of the interior layout on the Oceanis 45, with 3 or 4 cabins and 2 or 3 bathrooms. Large forward cabin takes up almost a third of the ship, has a large double bed and plenty of storage space and en - suite.
